School Kitchen Support Position

Our school is seeking a dependable and caring individual to support our kitchen operations and help provide nutritious meals for children ages 11 months through 6 years.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines

Prepare and serve simple, nutritious meals and snacks appropriate for young children

9:00 AM Morning Snack

12:00 PM Lunch

3:00 PM Afternoon Snack

Wash dishes and sanitize kitchen equipment

Perform light cleaning duties throughout the school as needed

Create and share a monthly menu with families

Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures

Qualifications

Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

Experience cooking for young children preferred

Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Positive attitude and enjoyment of working in a school environment
