School Physician (Part-Time/Contract/1099) – Lansingburgh Central School District

Location: Troy, NY

Start Date: July 1, 2025

Schedule: Approximately 3.5 hours per day or half days

Compensation: $135/hour

Lansingburgh Central School District is seeking a qualified School Physician to support student health and wellness across all grade levels, from Pre-K through high school.

Position Overview:
The School Physician will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a range of school health services, including:

• Conducting physical examinations for student-athletes
  
  

• Reviewing student health records and immunization documentation
  
  

• Developing and maintaining standing orders and medical protocols
  
  

• Consulting with school nurses and the Committee on Special Education
  
  

• Addressing student health concerns and providing medical guidance
  
  

• Performing scoliosis screenings and other required health assessments
  
  

This part-time position requires a daily commitment of approximately 3.5 hours or half days.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice medicine in New York State
  
  

• Experience in pediatrics, school health, or a related field is preferred
  
  

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  
  

• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and administration
