    School Psychs: We’re Hiring! Join our team as a School-Based Psychologist in Oakland, CA!

    Celebrations Speech Group is looking for a dedicated in-person School Psychologist to join our team for a school-based assignment in , CA. As a School Psychologist, you'll play a crucial role in helping students develop academic success & personal well-being by assessing, consulting, and providing services to students with vital needs to reach their full potential.

    Celebrations Speech Group is a private practice and Non-Public Agency with decades of experience providing quality special education and therapy services in schools, homes, and in-clinic.     Responsibilities:

    Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments in accordance with the California Department of Education, the California Board of Psychology, and Federal guidelines to determine the complex needs of individuals with suspected academic challenges.

    Certify pupils’ eligibility for placement in special education services, programs, or classes in accordance with their individual physical, mental, and emotional needs.

    Prepare comprehensive, legally defensible written reports of assessment findings with diagnoses and specific recommendations in accordance with State and Federal guidelines.

    Provide consultative support to administrators, parents, students, school-based personnel, and CSG staff on matters pertaining to special education procedures and guidelines, mental health issues, child development, student behavior, learning problems, and relevant intervention strategies and recommendations.

    Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to each student's goals.

    Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, following due process timelines.

    Provide counseling services to students as needed.

    Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications:

    REQUIRED Active Clinical or School Psychologist License issued by the California Board of Psychology, currently valid in CA.

    Current Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential issued by the California CTC, active in the state of CA.

    At least 2 years of school-based experience implementing Psychological support or related work supervising programs for students with Autism and related disabilities.

    Experience training school staff and parents

    Strong speaking, writing, interpersonal, and listening skills and the ability to work as a collaborative and supportive team member

    Ability to build rapport with staff.

    Positive and collaborative demeanor.
