Job Description:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Provide individual and group counseling for students
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address learning and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Participate in the development of IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and 504 plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary
- Promote positive school climate and preventative mental health practices
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Good standing as a professional psychologist in the state where services are to be rendered.
- Valid PDE Certification as a School Psychologist
- At least two (2) years of verified experience providing mental health treatment to children and youth.
- Must be comfortable using a computer
- Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards
- Current clearances (within 12 months)
