    Job Title: School Site Facilitator (Part-Time) Location: Laguna Woods, CA Schedule: On-site, Monday–Friday

    Company Description: Creative STEAM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit learning center in Laguna Woods, CA, offering innovative, alternative education for homeschoolers and students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our mission is to provide interactive, engaging learning experiences in subjects like English Language Arts, Math, Science, History, and the Arts. Through fundraisers and donations, we help build a strong educational foundation for our students and enhance their learning journey.

    2 Positions Available Position 1 : 8am -1:30pm Position 2 : 10am - 4pm

    Role Description: This is a part-time, on-site position for a School Site Facilitator at Creative STEAM. The Site Coordinator ensures the learning center operates smoothly and safely each day by managing site logistics, supporting students and faculty, and creating a positive, organized, and welcoming environment.

    The facilitator will be responsible for morning and afternoon facility set up and clean up, playground set up and clean up, organization, assisting in creating engaging learning experiences, supporting students and faculty in various tasks, organizing activities and events, and maintaining a positive and safe learning environment for students.

    Qualifications

    Experience in education, tutoring, or child care

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Organizational skills and attention to detail

    Ability to work collaboratively with team members

    Knowledge of STEAM subjects is a plus

    First Aid/CPR certification is beneficial

    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is preferred

    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee morning and afternoon facility set-up and clean-up.

    Set up playground and outdoor activity areas, including Gaga pit, 9-square, mountain, and outdoor tables.

    Print and prepare classroom materials for teachers.

    Assist with classroom centers and student activities.

    Provide first aid support and maintain first aid supplies.

    Open and monitor designated areas for guests (e.g., bar for guest use).

    Distribute water and supplies for students and staff.

    Empty trash in the social hall and maintain cleanliness of common areas.

    Set up and monitor stanchions, cones, and other site equipment.

    Disarm alarm system, turn lights on/off, and open gates and back areas as needed.

    Supervise students to ensure safety during transitions and playtime.

    Organize activities and events in collaboration with teachers and staff.

    Maintain and inventory site supplies.

    Ensure the facility is clean and secure after use, including managing extra trash outside.

    Qualifications:

    Experience in education, tutoring, childcare, or youth programs.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with team members.

    Knowledge or interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) is a plus.

    First Aid/CPR certification is beneficial.

    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred.
