We are looking for energetic, positive individuals to work as Learning Facilitators with students individually or in PODs with a ratio of 1:4 students. You will be going in the homes of the dedicated family/families to facilitate specific curriculum delivered by online school learning for the student's district.

You will have the opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of students and their families by helping them balance life during the pandemic through facilitation the online in-home schooling, so parents can focus on working remotely. You can choose your students/families based on location and availability.

JOB SUMMARY:

Facilitates and administers all learning assignments/curriculum following the Schools/Programs initiatives. Manage or co-manage with parents and determine the best approach in assignment completion based on individual/pod schedule for the day.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet in the student's home or nearby in the community to provide academic support by facilitating their online school curriculum
• Facilitate students in pods with 4:1 ratio
• Build a meaningful relationship and academic rapport with students
• Engage students in productively completing their school assignments
• Interact positively and professionally with clients (students and parents) to provide a safe and positive learning environment
• Implement positive-reinforcement strategies that maximize learning, in a cheerful and authentic manner
• Provide feedback during each lesson & build upon previous milestones
• Keep detailed records of daily learning sessions.
• Use tablet, portable computer, or other technology to assist students in managing online school assignments
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and professional learning environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Completed (or in-progress) Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or related area with two years of relevant experience, preferably working with elementary students.

LEARNING FACILITATORS MUST:

• Commit to a minimum of 9-15 hours per week
• Work during business hours of 8-5, M-F
• Must have reliable transportation or access to public transit
• Must take a temperature reading prior to entering homes
• Must wear a mask at all times
