About the Role:

Love Never Fails Learning Center II in Clinton, MD is looking for a passionate and dedicated School-age Teacher to join our growing team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives in a nurturing, supportive environment where every child is valued and celebrated.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and lesson plans for school-age children

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages social and emotional development

Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress

Support homework assistance and academic enrichment activities

Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning space

Collaborate with fellow staff members to promote a cohesive team approach to childcare

Requirements:

Prior experience working with school-age children in a childcare or educational setting

Maryland State Department of Education requires early childhood education courses, AA degree in early childhood education is preferred

Strong classroom management and behavior guidance skills

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with children

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Must pass a background check in accordance with Maryland childcare regulations
