Job Overview
As an Education Consultant for School is Easy, you will be integral to the success of our company, but more importantly, our students. In this consultative sales role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our families, assessing and understanding our students’ educational needs, conveying the value of the School is Easy educational service, recommending appropriate personal tuition plans based on your understanding of the student’s needs and aspirations and ultimately using your industry knowledge and sales acumen to effectively enrol students into our tuition programmes. Our ideal candidate will be a business-minded self-starter, with a drive for commission-based sales and a love of education.

Responsibilities and Duties
· Book, plan and carry out in-home ‘Consultations’ with students/families, in order to enrol them on to School is Easy tuition programmes.
· Plan and execute the entire sales process from initial contact with the family, through to consultation/enrolment, follow-up customer care, and re-enrolment.
· Access students based on learning style, academic ability, personality, needs/aspirations, interests/hobbies, in order to make well-informed and appropriate recommendations.
· As well as using SIE-generated bookings, be able to generate your own stream of leads through multiple sources and convert these into consultations.
· Have a good knowledge of our tutors (qualifications, subjects taught, personalities, availability, location,) in order to make the ideal match with our students.
· Generate referrals from families during the consultation process and report/follow-up on these to generate new consultations.
· Provide consultation reports to the SIE Director to include - a summary of the content covered, recommendation made to family, outcome of consultation, referrals generated, feedback from family, next steps/follow up plan.
· Have a robust, current knowledge of the Canadian education sector and understand how private tuition fits into it, so you are able to discuss it confidently with families.
· Train new Education Consultants (ECs) and take part in marketing activities as required.
· Must be available evenings and weekends and be flexible to client availability.
Qualifications and personal attributes
Must have sales background.
· Ideally educated to degree level.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales role, ideally consultative sales.
· Experience in the BC education sector preferred.
· Great relationship builder, adept at understanding client needs, with excellent objection handling skills and the ability to position yourself as a ‘trusted advisor’ to our families.
· Good understanding of private tutoring market. Ability to demonstrate how private tuition can complement/augment mainstream education.
· Hungry to generate new sales, up-sell existing clients, win repeat business and develop a strong lead pipeline.
· Strong organisational skills, ability to schedule own appointments and document/report outcomes.
