SCHWEIZER DIPPLE INC., located in OAKWOOD VILLAGE, OHIO is seeing a full time CONTROLLER to join our organization. We are among the top Mechanical Contractors in the country. The CONTROLLER is responsible for managing and administering accounting systems ensuring all financial reporting, policies and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

THIS POSITION CARRIES OUT RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONAL AREAS:
· Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
· Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
· Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
· Daily monitoring of petty cash, bank reconciliations.
· Monitoring & follow up with AR payments.
· Review & approval of weekly AP payments.
· Maintains banking relationship, credit line and completion of ACH’s.
· Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit.
· Files quarterly and annual reports as required.
· Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
· ACA reporting
· Preparing, filing and paying of union funds.
· Management of city licenses, specialty permits as needed.
· Completion of monthly cost meeting agenda and resources.
· Vehicle management including ordering, licensing, insurance etc.
· Management of subcontractor waivers & insurance verification.
· Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
· Ten or more year’s related experience preferred.
· Excellent management and supervisory skills.
· Excellent written, verbal communication, organizational and time management skills.
· Proficient in Foundation software, Microsoft Office Suite.
