Software Engineer
Science, Engineering, Management Solutions, LLC (Sem-Sol) is a small business located in Albuquerque, NM. The company consists of skilled scientists, engineers and technicians that specialize in directed energy and pulsed power systems. Duties will include: · Developing and documenting software for controlling directed energy systems and subsystems · Implementing a software repository and formal software configuration control · Presenting work at design reviews and conferences · Interacting daily with scientists, engineers, technicians, and program managers Required Qualifications: · B.S. in software engineering or related field from an accredited college · 2-10+ years of experience working on directed energy and/or pulsed power projects · Working knowledge of software used in programming embedded microcontrollers, programmable logic controllers, and embedded computers · Working knowledge of C# for developing user interfaces · Previous experience developing software development plans · Experience working in a research, development, or prototyping environment To be eligible for this opportunity, you must meet the following requirements: · This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
