Join the most fun science teaching team in Baltimore! The Science Guys have been teaching kids in the area for 8+ years. We make science FUN, COOL, and EASY! We are seeking a Part Time Science Teacher to join our team, beginning around labor day and continuing indefinitely. This position can become full time!!

Our classes are designed to get kids excited about learning! They are part educational and part entertainment! We call it edutainment.

We have both a full time position and a part time position, with the hours mostly being between 2-6pm M-F.

We pay $50-75 per class , so around $375-750 per week on average for the part time position. Full time $800+ per week

We provide materials, lesson plans, schedules, etc! You bring the personality!

Responsibilities:

• Manage and educate students in a classroom setting
• Read and prepare with the provided lesson plans
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and schools
• Document and share student grades and evaluations
• Maintain the health and safety of all students
• Pick Up and Drop Off materials for classes from our East Nashville Lab location
• Be the FUN teacher everyone looks forward to seeing!

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in teaching elementary education
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to build rapport and relationships with students and have fun
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities to set the tone for the class
