JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate for this paid internship is a current undergrad studying finance or accounting and has knowledge and understanding of general accounting and reports to the Associate Director of Finance. 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…

• Process invoices, bills and expenses; schedule payments
• Monthly account reconciliations including various balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, and credit cards
• Quality control over the billing/communication on our live sites and troubleshooting 
• Support as needed with external financial and tax audits 
• Work alongside talented professionals on the real day-to-day accounting procedures
• Update communications with customers
• Other accounting duties as assigned

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO TAKE AWAY…

QUALIFICATIONS YOU NEED…

• Undergrad working on a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Eager to learn more about the world of finance and accounting
• A desire to “learn while doing” – this is a hands-on internship working with the accounting team on the company’s day-to-day accounting 
• Experience with Excel 
• Comfortable with data entry
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Ability to work in our Solana Beach office – this is not a remote position

• Available 20-30 hours per week Monday-Friday during normal business hours
