    Job description

    Duties:

    • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
    • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the dental office's scheduling system
    • Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing
    • Maintain patient records and update medical history as necessary
    • Assist with billing and payment collection
    • Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
    • Manage office supplies and inventory
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
    • Provide administrative support to the dental office staff as needed

    Skills:

    • Proficiency in dental office systems and software, such as Eaglesoft, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Familiarity with phone systems and handling patient inquiries over the phone
    • Experience with medical records management and maintaining accurate documentation
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
