    Inventory Planner will be responsible for all essential inventory tasks. Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. • Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, the value of the material, and other required details for equipment, merchandise, or supplies: Counting material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and record data to the MRP system.To include cycle counting per schedule • Validates physical counts with MRP values and adjusts errors, investigates, and reports reasons for discrepancies. • Reconciliation of material usage logs with manufacturing orders • Validates and reports monthly inventory in WIP • Prepares and submits reports, such as inventory balance, shortages, SLOB and excess items in storage areas, based on schedule.Using data to generate inventory KPI • Assure that physical inventory locations match MRP, may require relocation of stock • Work in cooperation with material planning, production planning, accounting, and logistics to reduce inventory inaccuracy. • Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of products as needed. • Work with Purchasing and Planning to maintain adequate stock levels. • Identifies root cause of any inventory discrepancies and communicates the cause to Director of Materials and Accounting. • Assist with creating and implementing ISO 9001:2015 departmental processes Qualifications: • Advanced knowledge of MRP Systems, spreadsheets and • Working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment • Forklift certification (Scott can provide) • Timely reporting Compensation: $30
