Under moderate supervision, operates electrostatic/conventional spray guns to paint cabinets and interior fixtures, cleans and maintains spray booth and paint equipment, assists other departments as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Apply coating/paint with electric static airless spray guns. • Maintain painting equipment, which includes making minor repairs and ensures proper supplies are on-hand to complete assigned tasks. • Work effectively as a member of a team, while continuously striving to improve and develop individual skills and knowledge. • Apply epoxy and polyurethane coatings in a manufacturing environment. • Knowledge of surface preparation, mixing 2 and 3 component coatings, application equipment, and application of performance coatings on steel components. • Operate various pieces of equipment, such as Forklifts, spray guns, and other specialty equipment. • Work independently with minimal supervision. • Meet or exceed deadlines and schedules. Qualifications: • EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • EXPERIENCE: one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Compensation: $15 - $17 depending on experience
