    Scott Engineering, Inc. is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Painter who will under moderate supervision, operates electrostatic/conventional spray guns to paint Metal cabinets and interior fixtures, cleans and maintains spray booth and paint equipment, assists other departments as needed. Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Apply coating/paint with electric static airless spray guns. • Maintain painting equipment, which includes making minor repairs and ensures proper supplies are on-hand to complete assigned tasks. • Work effectively as a member of a team, while continuously striving to improve and develop individual skills and knowledge. • Apply epoxy and polyurethane coatings in a manufacturing environment. • Knowledge of surface preparation, mixing 2 and 3 component coatings, application equipment, and application of performance coatings on steel components. • Operate various pieces of equipment, such as Forklifts, spray guns, and other specialty equipment. • Work independently with minimal supervision. • Meet or exceed deadlines and schedules. • comply with all safety rules and guidelines. Qualifications: • EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • EXPERIENCE: one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Manufacturing experience a plus Compensation: $18 hourly
