Scott Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. is looking for self-motivated assemblers to join our team. Under close supervision, you will operate shears, punch presses, notchers, saws, and bending equipment to cut and shape structural steel and plastic. Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. • Moves and prepares structural steel for work • Measures surfaces to determine the proper length, width, and thickness required for the job • Operates shear as required for parts fabrication • Operates punch press to measure and cut square, circular, and other shaped holes • May operate manual and computerized press brakes to bend corners in sheet metal and back gauges, including making horizontal and vertical adjustments • May operate notcher to make open or closed cuts for doors, sides, roofs, and small parts • May operate grinders and cutting torches • Fabricates plastic barriers using appropriate tools and equipment • Moves material into the proper position • Cleans and maintains work area Qualifications: • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • Experience: One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience A Statement From Scott Manufacturing Solutions Human Assets Department Scott Manufacturing Solutions has partnered with E-Verify to verify work eligibility in the United States.
