    Scott Engineering, Inc. is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Painter who will, under moderate supervision, operate electrostatic/conventional spray guns to paint metal cabinets and interior fixtures, clean and maintain spray booth and paint equipment, and assist other departments as needed. Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. • Apply coating/paint with electric static airless spray guns • Maintain painting equipment, which includes making minor repairs and ensuring proper supplies are on hand to complete assigned tasks • Work effectively as a member of a team, while continuously striving to improve and develop individual skills and knowledge • Apply epoxy and polyurethane coatings in a manufacturing environment • Knowledge of surface preparation, mixing 2 and 3 component coatings, application equipment, and application of performance coatings on steel components • Operate various pieces of equipment, such as Forklifts, spray guns, and other specialty equipment • Work independently with minimal supervision • Meet or exceed deadlines and schedules • Comply with all safety rules and guidelines Qualifications: • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • Experience: One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Manufacturing experience a plus A Statement From Scott Manufacturing Solutions Human Assets Department Scott Manufacturing Solutions has partnered with E-Verify to verify work eligibility in the United States.
