    What you’ll do

    Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

    • Coordinate target creation and target agreement process for development costs and cross-functional assignments and timing including target commitment process in the product line for all types of costs
    • Consolidate and identify of all trade-offs and negotiation of measures to resolve trade-offs related to costs including benchmark analysis
    • Plan, control, and monitor targets for overall project and platform at the project manager and team level, including maturity assessment and definition/tracking of measures
    • Coordinate with the product control of the product line (e.g. profitability calculation, analysis of chances and risks, development costs) and the project managers of the product line
    • Create reports and ensure the central reporting system (degree of maturity, development costs) of the product line
    • Initiate, coordinate, create and plausibility check the product requirements catalogue, specifications, project status and project completion report in alignment with decisions at brand and group level
    • Steer and run plausibility check of development costs, timing, maturity assessments and project planning with reference projects together with the project managers of the product line
    • Ensure compliance with targets in terms of development costs and deadlines

    Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. The role will be based in the Detroit, MI vicinity. Applicants should expect that the role may require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and be able to travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

    • 5+ years of Product Management or Project Management experience, preferably in the automotive industry
    • Experience managing large and complex industry projects
    • Knowledge of automotive industry and development processes, technology and market
    • Ability to structure comprehensive tasks and steer cross functional working groups
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
    • Ability to accurately summarize and present project information in a clear manner to management and other audiences
    • A can-do-attitude and creative approach to break new ground for complex challenges
    • A collaborative approach and experience working in an international setting

    Pay Transparency

    This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
