    What you’ll do

    Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace. As our Benefits Administrator at Scout Motors, you will be responsible for coordinating and participating in the overall design, implementation, communication, and administration of our employee benefits programs. You will work closely with the People & Culture team leaders and third-party vendors to ensure employees are well-informed and satisfied with their benefits packages. Your job will involve managing employee benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other programs

    LOCATION: This role is open to hybrid open in DC or remote in EST

    The essence of this role

    • Partner with HR leadership and benefits broker to design, plan, and implement employee benefits programs
    • Oversee the administration of employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations including necessary ACA reporting and non-discrimination testing
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, resolve issues, and provide guidance on the use of benefits programs
    • Conduct benefits orientations for new hires and provide ongoing education to employees about benefits options and changes
    • Benefit invoice reconciliation and remittance
    • Manage the annual open enrollment process, including communicating changes to employees, coordinating with third-party vendors, and ensuring timely completion of enrollment forms
    • Communicate effectively with employees about benefits enrollment, changes, and other important information

    What you’ll bring 

    • 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration
    • Thorough knowledge and depth of experience of employee benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
    • Experience working with large and diverse workforce. Automotive and/or manufacturing industry experience is a plus, not a must
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Detail-oriented with great organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, enthusiastic attitude, and growth mindset

    Pay Transparency

    This position is eligible to receive a base salary and participate in an annual performance bonus program. The salary range listed represents the maximum and minimum starting base pay for this position at the time of posting. The final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

    Initial base salary range = $110,000 - $130,000
