Shipping & Receiving Assistant – Day Shift
Location: Golden Valley, MN

A well-established manufacturing company in the Minneapolis suburbs is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Assistant to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This role processes outgoing shipments, receives inventory, and helps keep orders moving efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Training is available for dependable candidates who are eager to learn.

Pay: $20–$24 per hour

Schedule:

• Full-time

• Monday–Friday

• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Overtime possible during peak seasons

Responsibilities:

• Process shipments using common shipping software and carrier systems

• Print packing slips and update order status in internal systems

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory

• Pull orders and prepare them for shipment

• Coordinate carrier pickups and provide shipping quotes internally

Requirements:

• Strong computer and communication skills 

  • Ship using UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and Endicia (USPS shipping software)

• Ability to learn new systems and software (SAP)

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs when needed

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Team-oriented and dependable

• 1 year forklift experience (reach and sitdown)
