Responsibilities: • Operate Minimum of 2 multi-spindle screw machines, with the possibility of operating a third machine for extra pay. • Knowledge in changing cams, grinding form tools, drills, cutoffs, and performing maintenance tasks. • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly. • Experience with preventative maintenance and adjusting machine tooling to ensure part conformance. • Use of micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators to verify part specifications. • Maintain tool sharpness and make necessary adjustments for part conformity. • Secure tools in holders according to the tooling layout. • Understanding of safety rules, machine instructions, and procedure manuals accurately. • Statistical Process Control techniques for quality assurance. • Uphold quality control standards to ensure machine performance. • Keep the work environment clean and safe. Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing is preferred for this role. • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints is required. • Experience in setting up machines is necessary. • Mechanical and electrical knowledge skills. • Ability to inspect parts is essential for this position. • A strong attention to Quality is expected. • Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) is required. • Problem-solving skills are a must. • Strong communication skills are essential. • A SOLID work ethic and exceptional attendance record are expected. • Physical ability to lift 40 lbs or more is necessary for performing job duties.
