We call this role Design Project Coordinator, but what we're looking for is a master of details, an expert communicator, and someone who is driven by helping others succeed.

The Design Project Coordinator will handle all the behind-the-scenes tasks related to the design of our authors' book projects. You'll be a critical member of our design department, which is responsible for interpreting each author's vision and translating it to the visual components of their book project, ensuring that every reader's first impression is a lasting one.

Every day, you'll be supporting our design teams by keeping projects organized and ensuring that people have what they need, at the time they need it. This role is crucial to ensuring that projects are running smoothly and everyone is able to do their work effectively. By virtue of your position, you will learn everything about how visual design in book publishing works, and you'll quickly realize your value as a member of this high-performing tribe.

We're SCRIBE MEDIA, and our mission is to help everyone on earth write, publish and market their book.

The problem is that writing and publishing books are, for most people, a painful and difficult process, loaded with uncertainty and aggravation. Our goal is to make it as simple as possible, so that as many people as possible can do it.

We have multiple ways we help people do this. We can edit and publish an already written manuscript (Scribe Publishing), or we can help people write their book using a structured process with our guidance (Scribe Guided Author), or we can do a structured interview process that gets the book out of them in their words and their voice (Scribe Professional).

And if you can't afford our services, that's fine. We give away all of our information for free. Seriously, it's called Scribe Book School, and it's better than any paid course on the internet.

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS

Our company was started because a frustrated entrepreneur wanted to put all of her incredible knowledge and ideas into a book, but didn't have the time to write it or the patience to deal with the frustrating publishing process. So we solved her problem. The origin story is here.

Does the idea of color-coding and labeling things make your heart sing? These traits all feed into a mindset we're looking for. Being able to stay organized and maintain impeccable attention to detail is absolutely essential to being successful in this role. 
• IMPECCABLE COMMUNICATION: In this role, you'll be responsible for facilitating many important steps across our design teams, all of which have different timelines and levels of priority. We will rely on your ability to quickly, proactively, and effectively communicate to guarantee that the wheels of our design teams turn smoothly.
• COURAGEOUSLY CURIOUS: You want to know how everything works. If you don't see an answer laid out in front of you, you want to find out where to get it. You're not afraid to challenge the status quo. And when you're learning a new skill, you aren't afraid to ask questions to really know it and get it right the first time.
