Salary: $52,696 - $79,092 (depending on experience)
Signing Bonus: $5,000 to $7,500 depending upon experience

Must-Haves:

• Obtain State of Vermont Respiratory Therapy Licensure prior to start date
• Associate degree from an AMA-approved program for Respiratory Care
• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligibility to take the NBRC written examination within one year of hire
• Reliable transportation due to limited public transportation

Nice-To-Haves:

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification preferred
• At least one year of work history as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting
• Ability to work independently

Job Description:

Are you ready to breathe new life into your career? We have three exciting positions available for Respiratory Therapists - one day shift and two night shifts. Our shifts are 12 hours long, typically spread across three days a week, with rotating weekends and holidays.

While we don't have an ICU, we encounter a diverse range of patients, making every day unique.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation with expertise and precision
• Manage and maintain respiratory equipment, including mechanical ventilators
• Transport patients internally and externally, as staffing permits
• Conduct and interpret blood gas analysis
• Administer aerosolized drugs and oxygen therapy
• Provide patient education on respiratory care techniques
• Collaborate effectively with other departments and healthcare professionals
• Ensure proper operation, disinfection, and quality control of equipment
• Participate actively in the Quality Assurance Program and in-service education
