Job Summary:

As our Manager of Labor and Delivery, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and compassionate delivery of babies and supporting mothers throughout their birthing experience. You'll lead our team in providing evidence-based care, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration, and upholding clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and staffing of the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures for safe and effective patient care.
• Provide leadership in maintaining high-quality standards and patient satisfaction.
• Foster interdisciplinary communication and collaboration to meet patient care needs.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing practice to ensure compliance with standards of care.
• Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Review feedback mechanisms to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support staff development and training initiatives to enhance clinical competencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state(s) of practice.
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, with leadership experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for patient-centered care.
