Job Brief

The Cable Technician will assist with installing Cat 5 & 6 cables within buildings for a telecommunications company.

Responsibilities

• Installation and testing associated with Network cabling –Cat.3, Cat 5, Cat.5e, Cat.6, Fiber Optic, Coax, Risers and Tie Cables
• Understanding and knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and voice and data applications a plus

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with commercial cable installation
• Previous experience with network cables (Cat5, Cat6, etc.)
• Experience with closet work a plus
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Clean driving record required
