    Are you an experienced SQL Developer with strong ETL experience? In this role you will play an integral part in the implementation of MS SQL development, acceptance, and production environment and will work closely with multiple infrastructure teams. Job responsibilities are as follows:

    • Write complex queries in TSQL
    • Design and Develop ETL Processes utilizing SSIS
    • Mentor Associate level Database Developers\Integration Specialist
    • Troubleshoot issues with ETL processes and SQL queries
    • Assist in system testing new and existing ETL processes
    • Review ETL processes for accuracy, maintainability and performance prior to implementation
    • Provide solutions for data migration and conversion
    • Collaborate with DBA with respect to performance, backup strategies, security and best practices
    • Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to Define requirements, define test plans and implement solutions for data migration for ETL Processes and test plans
    • Write system documentation and procedures. Work with team to define and communicate change control process.
    • Work with DBA to implement security standards and audit practices
    • Work with team to develop change control and database object migration processes
    • Work with DBA to audit user access to SQL Server databases based on security best practices
    • Develop and maintain best practice policies, procedures, standards and system level documentation related to the Production, Disaster Recovery and Staging environments

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant work experience
    • 7-10 years IT operation experience with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
    • Experience running SQL in a virtualized environment
    • Practical experience with the installation, maintenance, and upgrades of SQL Server
    • Practical experience with data migration and data replication tools, technologies, and strategies
    • SQL Management Studio, SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Integration Services
    • Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices
    • Knowledge of conceptual, logical and physical database design
    • Experience with OLAP and OLTP
