    Job Brief

    The Security Team Lead position includes implementing, maintaining, and enhancing the Information Security at the Firm. In addition, this position has System Engineer roles and provides escalation assistance to the I.T. department help desk.

    Responsibilities

    • Microsoft 365 Security Configuration:- Configure and manage security features within Microsoft 365, including but not limited to Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Defender for Identity, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
    • Threat Detection and Response: - Implement and monitor advanced threat detection mechanisms to identify and respond to security incidents promptly.
    • Identity and Access Management:- Ensure secure access to Microsoft 365 services through proper identity and access management controls, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and conditional access policies.
    • Data Loss Prevention (DLP):- Develop and enforce DLP policies to prevent unauthorized access, sharing, and leakage of sensitive data.
    • Security Compliance:- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations by regularly auditing and reporting on Microsoft 365 security configurations.
    • Incident Handling and Forensics:- Lead incident response efforts, conduct forensic analysis, and contribute to post-incident reports for continuous improvement.
    • Security Awareness Training:- Collaborate with the training team to educate end-users on security best practices within the Microsoft 365 environment.
    • Collaboration with IT and Security Teams:- Work closely with other IT and outsourced security teams to integrate Microsoft 365 security measures into the broader organizational security strategy
    • Plan, coordinate, and implement complex technology projects.
    • Monitor system performance and take proactive corrective action.
    • Ensure all backup and continuity systems are working properly.
    • Act as a technical escalation point for help desk members.

    Requirements

    • Law firm experience preferred.
    • 10+ years experience in a professional or corporate environment.
    • Must be flexible and able to produce quality results in an evolving fast paced environment.
    • Experience supporting multiple locations remotely.
    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Security Specialist or similar role.
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 security features and tools.
    • Experience with threat detection, incident response, and security compliance.
    • Strong understanding of identity and access management principles.
    • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) or equivalent.
    • Solid hardware knowledge to include support of HP servers, workstations/laptops, printers, and peripherals on various platforms.
    • Proven experience supporting VMWare, Windows Server , MS SQL Server.
