    Job Brief


    The Supply Chain member will be responsible for effectively working with the US-based suppliers, in tight coordination with the supply chain team in India. The position will report to the Manager of supplier relationships. 

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Strengthen, existing relationships with US suppliers, develop new supplier relationships, and own the supply chain process in the US.
    • Optimize sources, focusing on lowering costs, and improving lead times.
    • Work with suppliers for long term Indefinite deliveries and indefinite quantities (IDIQ) based strategic agreements adopting Economic order quantity (EOQ) procurement and elimination of Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ).
    • Own purchase contracts.
    • Own the associated logistics and warehousing activities.
    • Maintain material related data in quick books, for financial statements and statutory compliance.
    • Provide MIS reports and other management-related data to key stakeholders.

     

    Requirements

     

    • Candidates with a degree in business or supply chain management will be preferred.
    • Knowledge of electrical parts and components
    • Must have at least 3 years of supply chain experience within the aviation industry, specifically for electrical components such as wiring, connectors, relays, solenoids, lights, switches, electro-mechanical parts, etc.
    • Familiar with contractual requirements such as part nomenclature, specs, equivalents, alternates, and licensing requirements such as ITAR / EAR.
    • Must be familiar with various Original Component Manufacturers (OCM’s),
    • Be familiar with procurement advisories, procurement analytics, supply base optimization, and total acquisition cost analysis.
