Candidate Profile
The Multimedia and Instructional Designer develops online training for external and internal projects. This requires collaboration with the Training Team and management to ensure requirements and goals are being met and projects are kept on schedule.
The role is part of a dynamic team that is delivering projects to domestic and international clients. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, but should embrace learning on-the-job and contributing to the team’s overall growth within the company.
Responsibilities
Multimedia and Instructional Designer
- Create online training using a variety of software programs, including, but not limited to, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, etc.
- Apply appropriate interactive design and learning principles to instructional solutions for diverse adult learners
- Manipulate and edit digital video and images
- Create images that identify a concept or convey a message
- Develop graphics for online training, logos, and websites
- Select colors, images, text styles, and layouts
- Effectively develop training courses to meet the needs and requirements of defined subject matter and user groups
- Incorporate changes recommended by clients into final designs and deliverables
- Review designs for errors before publishing
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, graphic design, multimedia design, or related field preferred
Experience
- 1-3 years of working experience preferred
- Entry-level considered with the appropriate educational background
Skills
- Proficient with e-learning software (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.)
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience deploying content via a learning management system (LMS)
- Ability to create and edit video and slideshows
- Ability to create custom graphics and illustrations
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks
- Ability to be flexible and shift priorities as needed
- Ability to self-direct and motivate
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
- Experience with photography and/or videography a plus

Work Environment
- Current remote work environment
- Expectation will be to still come to office on a TBD schedule, but the general environment is WFA (Work From Anywhere)
- Office space is available for solo and collaboration use
- Reliable internet connection required
- Computer and software provided
- Be available for in-person meetings, when required
- Availability to work a standard week, but may need to work evenings and weekends to meet strict project deadlines
- Up to 5% travel may be required
