Job Description

Full Time Entry Level Driver Apprentice: This is a great way to ease into a career as a professional driver and grow with us. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, basic math skills, follow directions and willing to do what it takes to serve our customers even if you have to go the extra mile. To start, the apprentice will work as a helper with a veteran delivery route driver. Knowledge of geography and basic job duties and details will be gained with the plan that the apprentice can become a route driver and deliver our product in the Metro New York & New Jersey area. NYC is a large part of our business so those who do not prefer traffic and difficult driving situations need not to apply. CDL is not a requirement, but it always helps! – Some warehouse work at times.  Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to approximately 4:00pm-6:00pm.  Summers usually involve longer hours compared to winters.  Professional team environment.

PAY/BENEFITS: $13.00/hour.  $90/month performance bonus after 1 year on Sea Breeze payroll.  

-- Medical/Dental/Life Insurance (after 3 months) -if have medical insurance coverage elsewhere and don't enroll in the company's medical plan, we'll pay a $100/week bonus

-- 401K (after 1 yr.), Generous roll-over vacation and sick time (after 3 months).  Bonuses for recruiting new accounts, perfect attendance lottery (payroll bonus & gift certificates), company provided: phone, GPS, uniform, boots & jacket. 

Qualifications

Can read a map or use company GPS, honest, able to lift 55 pound boxes & tanks, comfortable with driving in Manhattan, clean driving record, ability to interact with customers.  Pass drug test, background check & DOT Physical, Valid and clean drivers license.
