THE PITCH

Based in Orange County, a Design Consultant will contribute to Sea Pointe Construction’s success by serving as the liason between our clients and the company. He or she will have experience in residential design/construction who loves clients & sales.

A Design Consultant is also responsible for planning, budgeting, designing and selling residential home remodeling projects such as kitchens, bathrooms, whole homes and additions.

We are seeking someone who is warm, excited to design and is looking for a team to work who will provide assistance with estimating, project management, accounting and administration.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Lead the client through the remodeling design process – including, but not limited to: floor plans, cabinetry design and space plans, material selections, electrical layouts, tile design, plumbing fixtures, and lighting
• Design kitchens, bathrooms, and everything in between
• Play an active role in managing architectural and engineering processes when needed on structural remodeling projects
• Establish client expectations for design and construction phases
• Maintain a client’s desired budget throughout the design and material selection process.
• Draft tile layouts, cabinet plans, electrical concepts, and job specifications

• A self-starter who loves collaboration. You’re comfortable working independently as well as influencing team members and clients.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 3-5+ years of experience successfully working on residential remodeling projects.
• Previous kitchen & bath design experience is a plus.
• Interior design certifications is not mandatory but we are big on continuing education
• Strong consumer orientation, behavior understanding, and drive toward engaging call to action initiatives
• Strong construction problem solving skills. We learn something new on the jobsite each and every day!
• Design software skills such as Sketch-up, AutoCAD, 20/20, Cabinet Vision, etc. We’re not picky!
• A willingness to work hard and play harder! We crave happy, positive attitudes.
