FULL-TIME POSITION. Your hours will ramp up to a full time schedule based on experience and ability to work independently.
We may consider PART-TIME applicants if we determine that a "job sharing" position is realistic.
XCELERATE PHYSICAL THERAPY is an established physical therapy company with multiple locations throughout Southern California. We are seeking a dynamic, positive, and outgoing front office administrator/receptionist to add to the great team in our newly remodeled THOUSAND OAKS/WESTLAKE VILLIAGE clinic. This candidate is someone who excels in a service oriented environment and who is comfortable interacting and communicating with both patients and professional health care providers (i,e. Doctors of Physical Therapy, etc). Additionally, We are seeking candidates who are efficient and able to proficiently to administer the duties of a medical front office including but not limited to duties described below.
Our front office position is the first and primary contact most patients will have with our office. As such, it is integral to the patient perception and experience. Therefore, applicants must be friendly, out-going, have good people skills and understand the customer/patient mindset. We are a busy, out patient orthopedic office with two to three therapists in the office at one time. Multi-tasking is a skill that is essential to success in this position in order to perform the detailed daily tasks required. Applicants must be very detail oriented with good computer skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
This position involves independent front office management including (but not limited to) answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, generating new patient paperwork, checking and understanding insurance benefits, treatment authorizations, electronic medical record data entry, collecting patient financial responsibilities, and posting payments.

Our new facility, currently under construction in Westlake Village, California, will open in February 2021. It will focus on combining our expertise in sports science, performance, and physical therapy using technology based care and sports by combining state of the art equipment including a full 3D motion capture movement lab and 3D gait, running, and biophysiology science lab.
