Location: Dewey, AZ Job Type: Full-Time | Day Shift | Overtime as Needed Industry: Heavy Civil Construction / Pavement Maintenance

By effectively coordinating people, equipment, and materials, this role helps minimize downtime, reduce rework, and keep projects on schedule—supporting both immediate results and long-term growth for ERC.
Position Summary:
Earth Resources Corporation (ERC) is seeking an experienced Seal Coat Supervisor to lead seal coating, slurry, and crack seal operations for parking lots and roadways. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising crews, coordinating equipment and materials, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to ERC quality standards. The ideal candidate brings a strong mindset around Leadership, Safety, Quality, and Production, and leads by example in the field.
What You’ll Do
As the Seal Coat Supervisor, you will oversee daily field operations while actively participating in production.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily seal coat and crack seal operations
Lead crews in safe, efficient work practices and enforce all job site safety requirements
Apply crack fill material using automated equipment from a trailer
Apply seal coat material using long-handled squeegees and spray wands
Operate seal coat and support trucks as needed
Conduct daily job briefings and safety tailgate meetings
Ensure compliance with ERC operating procedures and safety policies
Perform and document pre-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations
Complete and review daily logs, timecards, and job paperwork accurately and on time
Coordinate with management on scheduling, staffing, and equipment needs
Train and mentor crew members to improve skills, productivity, and safety awareness
Monitor job quality and production rates and make adjustments as needed
Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
Prior supervisory or lead experience in seal coating, slurry, chip seal, or pavement maintenance
Strong understanding of seal coat application methods and equipment
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Proven reliability and strong work ethic
Licensing & Compliance Requirements:
Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Health Card) required
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug testing
Must meet ERC and insurance driving requirements
Physical & Work Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
Perform manual labor including reaching, pulling, carrying, grabbing, and lifting
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to work long hours
Strong safety awareness and decision-making skills
