Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will set up, maintain, and operate industrial machines. You will ensure the machinery operates continuously and efficiently in order to maintain high productivity levels. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
Perform routine safety and maintenance checks prior to each production cycle.
Calibrate, adjust settings, and clean machines to ensure good operating conditions
Use precision tools to inspect parts
Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
Feed raw materials through machines
Monitor output to ensure it meets quality control standards
Maintain detailed records of activity logs, defective units, and final products
Hours are Monday - Thursday 6:30AM - 5:00PM
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Technical certification or degree is preferred but not required
Previous experience as a machine operator is preferred
Familiarity with industrial machinery and production procedures is preferred
Experience with seam sealing machines is preferred but not required
Understanding of industrial sewing and garment construction is preferred but not required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including sitting for long periods and working around high temperatures.
