Sealing Technologies, Inc. is looking for an Accountant III to join the team! The Accountant III will report to the Accounting Manager and oversee inventory management and full cycle accounting tasks. Duties and responsibilities will include:

Inventory Management:

• Ensure financial statements accurately reflect inventory balance, obsolescence reserve, warranty reserve, and cost of goods sold.
• Work with Product Operations team to perform monthly inventory reconciliation ensuring all receiving and shipping transactions are accurately reflected in financial statements and allocated to correct projects.
• Ensure inventory transaction integrity between ERP (Unanet) and IMS (Flowtrac).
• Assist in quarterly physical count of inventory, documenting and researching discrepancies.

Accounting:

• Conduct a three-way match for all supplier invoices ensuring integrity between invoice, purchase order, and receiving report.

• Ensure all supplier invoices are recorded in a timely manner.

• Perform a full spectrum accounting cycle, assisting with month, quarterly and annual close.

• Perform general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.

• Provide outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.

• Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business
• 3 years of related experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Understanding of and the ability to adhere to GAAP.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced small team environment that is highly collaborative and meet required deadlines and perform all necessary tasks.
• Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
• Experience with Unanet is a must
• Experience with Government contracting
• US Citizen

Salary Range: $69K-$80K _
The anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law._
