    Job Description

    CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

    If you enjoy helping others and flourish in a fast-paced environment, you might be a fit for Sean Taylor Hayes, Inc.’s CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST position. Taking inbound calls, you’ll answer questions regarding coverage, rates, billing issues, and general policy reviews while also offering additional products. You may work with personal auto customers, homeowners, or small business owners with commercial auto policies. Successful candidates can multitask, have customer service experience, and can navigate through multiple computer systems. Preferred candidates will live within the state of Texas.

    PAY RATE STARTS AT $26 AN HOUR.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Demonstrate regard for the dignity and respect of all employees, medical staff, and visitors.
    • Answer phones and greet incoming call in a professional and courteous voice.
    • Triage calls and transfer calls to other departments.
    • Answer questions accurately and schedule patients for various appointments.
    • Accurate recording of patient demographic information.
    • Complete timely and accurate email correspondence with patients prior to their new patient visit with physician.
    • Responsible for timely follow-up on transferred calls.
    • Participate in staff meetings and other in-services or trainings as assigned.
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

     

    · Prior experience managing multiple or competing priorities, including use of multiple computer applications simultaneously

    · Prior experience effectively communicating with customers verbally and listening to their needs

    · Associate's or Bachelor's Degree

    · 3 years of customer service experience

    · Demonstrated experience with providing strong customer service and attention to details while listening on calls

    · Prior inbound call center or related customer service experience

    · Prior Healthcare experience
