    Position Description:

    Searchlight is looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and motivated content marketer to help drive excitement around Searchlight and the category. You will be responsible for everything from editorial and content strategy, content creation, social media trends, and brand voice. This role requires strong collaboration and the ability to deliver results through cross-functional alignment and communication.

    Responsibilities:

    • Spearhead the development and implementation of Searchlight’s content strategy. This includes building a content strategy and calendar, creating a writing process and delivery strategy, and ultimately, crafting interesting and well-researched content that drives traffic and engages customers.

    • Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create effective communications strategies that articulate our product’s core benefits properly and consistently

    • Translate data-centric customer and product insights into narratives, content journeys, creative ideas, and roadmaps for the human resources audience.

    • Produce high-quality articles, white papers, blogs, social posts, press releases, email marketing messages, case studies, presentation content, survey reports and web copy

    • Develop SEO strategies for content (SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc)

    • Continuously measure and improve content performance; create reports leveraging Google Analytics, HubSpot and social media analytics tools

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges in order to build a more effective content

    Qualifications:

    • 4+ combined years of content and marketing campaign experience

    • Strong writing and communication skills

    • Ability to execute end-to-end campaigns with speed and accuracy

    • Prior experience at a Series A to C startup

    • Self-starter and fast learner, especially in ambiguity

    • Sharp at problem solving, critical thinking, and systems thinking - balanced in intuition and data-driven decision making

    • Exceptional communicator, uses the language of our users to make the complex simple
