About You:

You're a highly curious person, one who has built a lot of spreadsheets in your time. You like to ask questions and understand systems deeply, but you can work with round numbers and rapidly identify general trends when you've only got an hour to make a decision. You keep things organized, can write clearly, and can make a PowerPoint slide that is both visually appealing and informative. You are also:

• Good at Excel
• Experienced building and maintaining financial models

• Familiar with financial statements and basic accounting principles

The Details:

Currently multiple people on our team devote parts of their time to tracking and optimizing where our funds flow and when. In this role, you'd draw data from various parts of the business, process and interpret it, and make sure key takeaways get recorded and shared with the right people. You'd also contribute to day-to-day operations by assisting with bookkeeping, identifying areas for improvement, and creating product invoices and quotes.

Here are some specific tasks you might work on:

• Building and maintaining financial models to inform key business decisions
• Assembling quotes for customers
• Creating and tracking invoices
• Preparing financial reports for investors and quarterly meetings
• Building project and event cost analyses
• Assisting with accounting (seasonal) and bookkeeping (year-round) efforts
• Contributing to grant applications and project proposals by helping create budgets and relevant narrative sections
