Soccer Shots is a high-energy children’s soccer program focused on character development for ages 2–8. Through engaging coaching, clear communication, and strong relationships, we positively impact children on and off the field.

We’re looking for someone who loves working with kids and also enjoys organizing, planning, and supporting a team behind the scenes.

This role is approximately 20–35 hours per week during the season and combines coaching and administrative leadership.

What You’ll Do

On the Field (Coaching)

Lead fun, engaging soccer sessions for ages 2–8

Bring “Soccer Island” to life with enthusiasm and energy

Set up and break down fields and equipment

Teach character through positive reinforcement

Communicate with parents, caregivers, and center staff

Ensure safety and accurate attendance

Behind the Scenes (Coordinator)

Support season scheduling and communication

Prepare registration materials, emails, and promotions

Track and organize equipment

Assist with coach training logistics

Help manage social media and marketing efforts

Represent Soccer Shots at community events

Who Thrives in This Role

This position is ideal for someone who:

Has experience in early childhood education, preschool, daycare, or elementary settings

Understands child development and classroom management

Is energetic and comfortable leading groups of young children

Naturally takes initiative and stays organized

Communicates confidently with parents and school directors

Can move quickly from active coaching to focused administrative work

Availability Requirements

20–35 hours per week during season

Commitment to an 8–12 week season

Availability Monday–Saturday mornings and/or weekday evenings

No major scheduling conflicts during the season
