Taste Buds Kitchen – Summer Season (May 18 – August 14)
Join Taste Buds Kitchen this summer as a Seasonal Culinary Cooking Class Instructor / Camp Host and lead exciting, hands-on cooking experiences for kids, families, and adults! This seasonal role focuses primarily on our Summer Cooking Camps, where we inspire young chefs to explore creativity in the kitchen while learning valuable culinary skills.
We’re looking for a high-energy, engaging individual who loves food, enjoys working with kids, and thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment Natural curiosity and passion for food and culinary entertainment Excellent communication skills, especially with children Proficient in a range of cooking and baking techniques
Confident speaking in front of groups with a strong, clear voice
Minimum of one year of experience entertaining or working with kids and/or adults
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 pounds
CPR certified (or willing to obtain)
Responsibilities
Host and instruct summer cooking camps, classes, and parties for guests ages 2–99
Lead engaging, hands-on cooking activities for young chefs during Summer Camp sessions (May 18 – August 14)
Teach guests culinary and baking techniques related to the class menu
Create a friendly, energetic, and consistent guest experience
Interact with guests and parents to ensure an outstanding experience
Work independently or manage a team of culinary assistants during larger camps and events
Set up the kitchen studio before camp and classes and assist with cleanup afterward
Maintain a clean, safe, and controlled kitchen environment, providing first aid/CPR treatment if needed

For Kids (ages 2 to teens):
Hands-on cooking classes, summer camps, birthday parties, and field trips.
For Adults:
Date-night cooking classes, birthday celebrations, bachelorettes, showers, and corporate events.
Seasonal Details
Seasonal Position: May 18 – August 14
Primary Focus: Summer Cooking Camps and youth programming
Opportunities may include assisting with private events, classes, and parties throughout the season.
