Position Summary:
The Seasonal Hospitality Hostess is responsible for providing a welcoming and professional first impression for guests visiting the racetrack during live racing, simulcasting, and special events. This role assists with guest reception, seating coordination, and general guest service support to ensure an enjoyable and organized experience. The Hostess helps maintain a positive atmosphere by assisting guests with questions, directing them within the facility, and supporting front-of-house operations.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
- Assist with seating arrangements, reservations, and guest flow within designated seating areas.
- Provide general information to guests regarding racing schedules, facility amenities, and event activities.
- Help manage guest lines and seating availability during high-volume race days and events.
- Coordinate with admissions, bar staff, and operations personnel to ensure smooth guest service operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and reception area.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Support special events, promotions, and race-day activities by assisting guests and directing traffic within the facility.
- Ensure hospitality standards and company service expectations are consistently maintained.
Qualifications:
Required :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service or hospitality experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests
** Preferred :**
- Previous experience as a hostess, front desk attendant, or guest services representative
- Experience in hospitality, entertainment venues, restaurants, or event settings
- Familiarity with horse racing environments or racetrack operations
Licensing Status:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any required racetrack credentials or regulatory access permits if applicable
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a hospitality and entertainment environment with frequent guest interaction.
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Work environment may include moderate noise levels and high guest traffic during racing events.
