In this role, you will help guests enjoy their Festival experience by answering questions, providing directions, and assisting with a variety of guest services. Familiarity with the Texas Renaissance Festival and its operations is preferred.
Season Information
Seasonal position only
Festival operates 8 weekends, October 10 – November 29, including Friday, November 27
Mandatory training day on September 19th
Mandatory dress rehearsal on October 3rd
King's English is required for this Festival position.
Responsibilities
Provide guests with general Festival information and directions
Answer patron questions and assist with navigating the Festival grounds
Apply identification wristbands to children to assist with reunification if separated from their guardians
Manage lost-and-found items
Direct wedding parties and other groups to their designated locations
Deliver friendly, professional customer service while representing the Festival
Work Environment & Requirements
This is an outdoor position requiring extensive walking and standing.
Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, including prolonged exposure to heat, cold, and rain.
Renaissance-period costuming is required throughout the workday. Employees are responsible for providing their own costume.
Familiarity with the Texas Renaissance Festival and its layout is preferred.
