ABOUT US Big Brainbox is an education company that helps students learn through hands‑on STEM experiences. We work with kids from homeschool, after‑school, and neurodivergent communities, focusing on confidence, curiosity, and real‑world skills.

Our seasonal team supports fun, engaging learning environments while gaining valuable experience in education and STEM.

POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking seasonal Assistant Teachers to help support our summer STEM programs and camps. This role is ideal for high school juniors and seniors or college students who enjoy working with kids and are interested in science, technology, or education.

You will assist lead instructors with STEM activities, help students during lessons, and support day‑to‑day classroom needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Help with STEM activities such as coding, robotics, and engineering

Support hands‑on projects in chemistry, biology, and applied science

Assist students individually or in small groups

Encourage positive behavior and student participation

Support students with different learning needs using positive reinforcement

Help set up and clean up classrooms and materials

Work as part of a team with instructors and staff

Participate in brief trainings or team check‑ins as needed

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

High school junior or senior (or college student)

Experience working with kids (camp, tutoring, babysitting, volunteering, coaching, etc.)

Interest in STEM subjects (science, math, robotics, technology)

Experience with robotics programs (FLL, FTC)

Experience with science projects or labs

Reliable, responsible, and positive attitude

Comfortable helping younger students learn
