About the Role:

Join The Little Gym of Midland as a Seasonal Summer Camp Instructor, where you can inspire and engage children through fun and dynamic activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to create memorable experiences while fostering a love for fitness and learning in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise daily camp activities, including gymnastics, games, and arts & crafts.

Ensure a safe and positive environment for all campers, promoting teamwork and respect.

Engage with children of various age groups, adapting activities to suit their skill levels.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding camper progress and feedback.

Assist in the planning and execution of themed camp days and special events.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym and equipment.

Collaborate with fellow instructors to create an inclusive and enjoyable camp experience.

Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Experience working with children in a camp or educational setting is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with kids and parents.

CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus.

Passion for fitness, gymnastics, and child development.

Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons during camp sessions.

Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.

Background in physical education, child psychology, or related fields is beneficial.

Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check.

HOURS: Weekdays from 1-4 PM until July 31st
