Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Accountant to join our busy, well established CPA firm which is almost exclusively tax preparation. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in tax preparation.

Duties

Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and small businesses

Conduct requisite tax research and provide insights on tax saving strategies.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws affecting clients.

Qualifications

3-5 years experience preparing tax returns

College degree or equivalent

Experience with accounting software. Experience with Drake Tax Preparation Software, a plus.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines effectively.
