Full Time Qualified Mental Health Professional - Virginia (Charlottesville)
Required skills and experience:
? Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in human services discipline, including, but not limited to: Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, etc.)
? 2 years’ experience working with children (experience can include internships)
? Upon hire, the Qualified Mental Health Professional must be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Provider and registered with the VA Board of Counseling
? Must have their own vehicle to travel while in the field
? Valid drivers license (has to be in good standing, no DUIs, excessive tickets, etc.)
What you need to know:
? The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) may provide direct services to assigned individuals and their families in all program modalities our Company offers, including, but not limited to: Intensive In Home Services, School Based Therapeutic Treatment Services, assisting in providing services in the Behavioral Therapy Program, and/ or Mental Health Support.
? Assist in the development of the treatment plan (ISP/ Individual Service Plan) with individual and family participation. Effectively implement treatment plan throughout the course of treatment
. ? Provide behavior support services and make appropriate interventions as outlined in the ISP to help individuals and their families meet treatment goals and objectives.
? Work to join appropriately with children and families in establishing effective professional relationship with an awareness of maintaining appropriate boundaries.
? Provide on-call crisis intervention services to individuals as necessary.

• Child and Adolescent development/needs/behavior
• Child and/or Adult psychopathology and diagnostic categories
• Family systems
• Treatment planning and implementation, reviewing, and updating of Person-Centered Plans.
• Best Practices in clinical treatment interventions
• Family systems and family dynamics
• Best Practices in Systems of Care
• Medical/Clinical and Medicaid documentation standards and practices Schedule: Candidate can set their own schedule each week as long as they reach at least 30 billable hours.
**Will work a lot of afternoons/evenings (a bulk of appointments are after school hours)
