Seasons of Danvers is a wonderful 55 person assisted living community for residents who need memory care located in Danvers, Massachusetts. We are part of a growing network of communities managed by Sona Senior Living.

Part Time and Per Diem Positions Available

The Programming Assistant will work directly with our residents to stimulate their physical, intellectual, social, spiritual and emotional well being.

Essential Functions:

• Will work independently and along with the Director of Social Programming.
• Flexible work schedule to include weekends, evenings and some holidays.
• Oversee scheduled events including room set up and resident participation.
• Organize and participate in daily routine activities.
• Create a positive environment to engage resident participation
• Personal attitude must be enthusiastic, caring, considerate, and respectful to residents always.
• Keep all residents' information confidential.
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma preferred
• Minimum of 1 year working experience with the geriatric population or experience related in a professional field.
• Requires the ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and the public.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
• Establishes and maintains constructive working relationships with coworkers, residents, families, and visitors.
• Promotes teamwork in the provision of services for residents.
