Procurement Coordinator - Lombardi Brothers Meats
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to support our meat purchasing department at Lombardi Brothers Meats.
Position Summary:
The Procurement Coordinator at Lombardi Brothers Meats is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for the purchasing department. This role involves communicating with vendors regarding prices and specifications, order status, delivery schedules, and quality of goods. The Procurement Coordinator will also communicate with internal sales representatives and be responsible for maintaining records and accurately tracking all product movement.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Purchase Order Management:
Initiate, prepare, process, and verify purchase orders following department leadership. Ensure timely purchase and delivery of materials and goods.
Data Management:
Input transactions accurately into the purchasing and contracts system or database. Maintain organized files and records of materials, prices, inventories, and deliveries.
Supplier Interaction:
Communicate with suppliers and freight lines to accurately track all inbound logistics. Ensure all supplier invoices are matched to internal purchase orders.
Issue Resolution:
Expedite delayed orders and address issues related to changes, returns, replacements, and credit arrangements. Conduct inventory reconciliations and discrepancy root causing.
Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure prompt and efficient fulfillment of procurement needs. Efficiently and proactively communicate all issues with internal and external parties.

Pay Rate:
$40,000.00 - $50,000.00
