The immediate function of the Technology and Projects Manager is to work with leadership and the company to serve as the project manager for the implementation of an ERP. Seattle Fish is targeting a 2024 transition from our current ERP Aspen Canopy. The company made substantial progress towards that goal, has retained a consulting firm to assist with planning, and has engaged the Aspen Canopy ERP implementation team. We are seeking an individual that can collaborate with the teams currently in place, serve as a project manager on the project, and to serve as internal lead for the project.

Beyond the ERP implementation, the primary function of the Technology and Projects Manager is to optimize the use of appropriate technologies to increase internal efficiency and improve the customer experience. This will involve identifying opportunities, creating business cases, effectively implementing, and managing vendors across a range of mechanical, hardware, and software technologies.

Compensation:

$80,0000.00-$95,000.00 + bonus opportunity

• Ensure business operates accordingly to the company's mission statement and values
• Serves as a member of the Seattle Fish Leadership Team as the Technology and Projects Expert. The LeadershipTeam is responsible for day to day operations, and overcoming any challenges that appear. They workcollaboratively to ensure optimal performance across all departments.
• Work with selected vendor to plan and implement new ERP system.
• Effectively communicates (verbally and written) with internal and external parties
• Use analytical thinking to make critical decisions and problem solve
• Manage technology vendors and suppliers, including IT service provider to ensure daily IT and technology needs ofthe business are met.
• Continuously seek out new technologies that could provide cost effective benefits to Seattle Fish and present themto the COO and Leadership team.
• Work with the finance team to develop business cases for major projects.
• Create and implement project plans for major projects.
• Be the subject matter expert for Project Management and provide training, coaching and support to others
• Identify opportunities to leverage current technologies to help drive business performance.
• Provide advice and support to Supervisors and Managers in development and refinement of processes and SoPs
